Spring 2011 Bicycle Quarterly

The Spring 2011 issue of Bicycle Quarterly is at the printer, and will be mailed next week. Here is a sneak peek at the new issue.

About Jan Heine, Editor, Bicycle Quarterly

I love cycling and bicycles, especially those that take us off the beaten path. I edit Bicycle Quarterly magazine, and occasionally write for other publications. One of our companies, Bicycle Quarterly Press publishes cycling books, while Compass Bicycles Ltd. makes and distributes high-quality bicycle components for real-world riders.

I am looking forward to it, as always.

  2. Ariel says:

I’m especially excited for this issue’s focus on transportation. I will be eagerly checking my mail starting next week :)

  3. I like the Trek Madone vs Surly LHT comparison : ))

  4. AllanInPortland says:

I suppose you don’t want BQ becoming all Pereira all the time, not that there’s anything wrong with that, but had I known you were going to do a Big Dummy review, I’d have offered my custom Pereira long-tail to compare and contrast. ;-)

  5. doug in seattle says:

When will these arrive in Seattle bike shops? I feel embarrassed showing up at Recycled on my home every day on the way home looking for the new issue and not buying anything.

    • By early next week, they should have it. I am sure they don’t mind your coming in and checking. Of course, you still can take out a subscription, so you are among the very first to get every issue. (We’ll start processing the mailing on early Wednesday.)
